BevCam is more than a Public Access TV Station, it is a work of art. Its architect, Peter Scott of Scott & Scott Architects, has made it both a comfortable and functional atmosphere. It has a lobby/viewing area, conference room, cablecast room, server/tape inventory room, control room and a studio which has a green screen that allows for images to be superimposed into the backgrounds of shows. It also includes a front desk area where the staff can easily work together on projects. Perhaps BevCam’s most alluring property is its hanging artwork. Photographs, paintings and other media by local artists are displayed throughout the studio, adding color to the space.
