On April 25, BevCam staff and volunteers were on hand to tape the Beverly Rotary Club’s annual North Show Star event at the Danversport Yacht Club. Talented singers from around the region performed popular numbers before a very appreciative audience. On April 8, BevCam staff journeyed to the Salem Access facility to participate in a North Shore Access workshop. These meetings are held once a quarter at different access centers on a rotating basis. It gives us a chance to visit with our peers, get technical equipment updates and discuss relevant issues.BevCam hosted another scout visit on April 18. The young producers-to-be had fun seeing themselves in front of interesting green screen effects. New producer Amy Seabrook taped her first show featuring an elaborate puppet theater set up. A group of youngsters interacted with the puppets during the live presentation. Amy intends this to be a regular series.
