At the Alliance for Community Media annual conference in Boston, BevCam and its producers won 5 first place awards. Elliott Margolis, George Binns and Gail Burke won in the Government Profile category for their show “What’s Happening”. BHS media students won first place in the following: for Animation, Laina Meagher for “The Left Over Cookie Dough”; in Community Events, Emily Auday and Kayla Ostrowski for “World of Difference”; in Public Service Announcements, Allie Clancy for “Child Abuse Prevention and Awareness”; and in Spiritual/Inspirational, Emily Auday won again for her “Self Portrait” video.
