Chris Harvey

Executive Director

Chris developed an early passion for media production while attending Beverly High School, where his introduction to media studies set the foundation for his career. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Communication with a focus on Media Production from Endicott College in 2008.

Over the course of his career, Chris has built extensive experience across multiple facets of audiovisual and media production. In parallel with his professional roles, he founded and continues to lead a production company specializing in live music performance. As a musician, he brings a practiced ear and creative perspective to music production, enhancing the quality and impact of the projects he oversees.

Now serving as Executive Director at BevCam, Chris provides strategic leadership to guide the organization’s mission to support community media, foster creative expression, and expand access to high-quality media resources. His combined technical expertise, artistic background, and leadership experience position him to drive innovation and growth within the organization.

Outside of his professional work, Chris enjoys spending time with his wife and child and continues to pursue music as both a creative outlet and personal passion.

Liz DiFiore

Community Engagement Manager

Liz is a person who thrives on connection. Whether it’s building strong communities for professional organizations or bringing characters to life in her illustrations, Liz has a talent for fostering meaningful relationships that inspire growth and creativity.

Her journey has taken her from the Architectural Woodwork Institute to the world of children’s books, but throughout it all Liz has remained committed to her core values of community and collaboration. As a leader in the Graphic Artists Guild, she has dedicated countless hours to mentoring fellow artists and promoting their work, always with an eye toward building stronger connections within the industry.

With an outgoing personality, natural curiosity, and dedication to her new home in Beverly, Liz is ready to take on this new role at BevCam. You can often find her downtown at one of the local cafes, in the library playing board games, or walking from one side of town to the other with her husband.

Michelle Lopez

Content Manager

Michelle grew up in the Boston area and graduated from Suffolk University with a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism. After interning at WHDH Channel 7 News in Boston and spending time at Mix 104.1, she discovered a path that allowed her to stay connected to the film and media world while working closely with her local community. She went on to join a public access television station in Winthrop, Massachusetts, where she spent five years gaining hands-on experience and developing a strong foundation in community media.

Michelle later brought her skills to BevCam, where she now serves as Content Manager. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and family, as well as camping, traveling, and being outdoors.

Amanda Hurley

Education Manager

Amanda is a storyteller at heart, with a BA in Dramatic Arts and a background working with children. In 2020, looking to make a career shift, she completed a certificate program in Broadcast Media and soon found herself working at Urban Media Arts as an Education Coordinator. Amanda stayed in this role for three years and enjoyed working with the community while doing creative work. Shortly after moving to Beverly, she landed this role at BevCam. Amanda loves the arts and culture here in Beverly and is excited to take on this new role! When not working, her favorite activities are binge-watching her favorite shows, writing and performing, and snuggling her twins, Annabelle and Rosalie.

Jon McMahan

Production Manager

Jon McMahan became fascinated with performing and media arts at a young age, leading to many lost but not forgotten home movies and garage bands. After graduating from McCallum Fine Arts Academy in Austin, TX, Jon moved to Boston, where he earned a BA in Acting and Film from Emerson College. After many years of independent films, stage productions, and band tours, Jon found new roots in the wonderful city of Beverly, where he discovered the rare community-centric imaginarium, BevCam. When not working at BevCam, Jon enjoys playing music with friends, making films with friends, and quoting deep cuts from 80s and 90s films… with friends.
